Fortune favours the brave! It was the hottest day of the year so far, with travel not recommended, chaos on the trains, dangerous heat levels, etc. 🥵

We had a strong turnout despite the obvious challenges, and the overall session and roundtables were very animated [must have been the AC!].

The commitment and passion in the room were evident!

The injury

I'm very pleased it was so well received and a productive session - it was my first panel moderation, so good to get that under my belt for future events.

Also having convened the whole event, I had some skin [and bone] in the game....

Having hobbled up there from Southampton with a swollen ankle [suspected ligament damage], an X-ray a few days later revealed a fracture and bone chip. 😭
